Clintonville, WI (August 7, 2026) – A woman was injured after her bicycle collided with a vehicle at the intersection of S. Main St and W. Madison St in Clintonville on Wednesday, August 5.
According to the Clintonville Police Department, officers responded to reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a bicyclist at the intersection. When they arrived, they found the injured woman conscious and breathing on the ground. The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene.
A preliminary investigation and witness statements indicated the vehicle was traveling west through the intersection with a green traffic signal. The police said the bicyclist was traveling south and failed to stop for a red light before entering the intersection, where she was struck by the vehicle. The woman was treated at the scene before being transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Authorities continue to remind bicyclists to obey all traffic laws while riding on public roadways.
