Tulsa, OK (June 18, 2026) – Several people were injured on Wednesday morning in a multi-vehicle crash involving a BMW, two passenger vehicles, and a school bus in north Tulsa.
According to Captain Karen Tipler of the Tulsa Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 11:20 a.m. in the 3300 block of North Peoria Avenue. Witnesses reported that a silver BMW had exited the highway and was traveling at a high rate of speed when it approached other vehicles in the northbound lanes.
Investigators said the BMW attempted to pass a black Jeep while traveling northbound, but encountered a Chevrolet Equinox traveling in the same direction. The BMW collided with the Equinox, causing the SUV to spin and strike the Jeep, which was forced off the roadway and into a body shop fence line. The Equinox also spun out in the roadway following the impact.
Authorities said the BMW continued spinning before colliding with a southbound school bus. The bus sustained minor damage, and officials confirmed that no children were on board at the time of the crash.
The driver and passenger of the BMW were transported to a local hospital in serious condition. The drivers of the Equinox and the Jeep were also taken to a hospital for evaluation. Police continue to investigate the collision.
