Bowling Green, KY (January 12, 2026) – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash near Scottsville Rd early on January 12, following reports of injuries and airbag deployment near the intersection with Pasco Blvd and Three Springs Rd.
Engine 6 and additional units responded just after 5:15 a.m., arriving to find a white car and a gray SUV with moderate front-end damage. Airbags had been deployed in at least one of the vehicles, and one individual on scene reported injuries. Medics evaluated the person involved, although the full extent of injuries has not yet been made public.
The crash occurred near a commercial corridor with several medical and retail facilities nearby, including a hospital whose parking lot was initially mentioned in radio traffic. Traffic in the area was temporarily disrupted while responders assessed the scene and coordinated cleanup.
Authorities have not released a cause for the crash, and no citations or arrests have been reported. The investigation is ongoing as officials continue gathering information from those involved.
