Why Rollover Crashes Can Require Emergency Rescue Efforts
Rollover crashes can sometimes trap occupants inside a vehicle, especially when doors are blocked or the roof structure is compromised. In these situations, responders may need specialized tools to safely extricate passengers.
High-traffic roads and intersections can increase the likelihood of sudden impacts that lead to rollovers. A sharp turn, collision, or abrupt maneuver may be enough to destabilize a vehicle.
Once a rollover occurs, injury risk often increases due to multiple points of impact. Rapid response and careful extraction are typically priorities for emergency crews to prevent further harm.
