What Challenges Are Seen in Bus Rollover Crashes?
Routes carrying regional traffic near the Twin Lakes area can experience delays after accidents, especially when large vehicles are involved. Crews in Calhoun County often prioritize clearing hazards and assisting those involved.
Bus crashes can result in more injuries due to the number of passengers on board. When a bus leaves the roadway and rolls, people inside may be thrown from their seats or struck by interior surfaces.
Road conditions, vehicle balance, and speed can all affect how a bus reacts during a sudden movement. In rollover events, the size and weight of the bus can increase the impact forces, making these crashes more severe.
