Corona, CA (September 6, 2026) – A gray Scion xB and a white sedan were involved in a collision on westbound State Route 91 east of State Route 71 at about 1:07 p.m. on Friday, September 4.
Both vehicles came to rest in the center divider. One occupant reported a head injury and requested medical assistance, prompting emergency units to the freeway.
A SigAlert was requested for lanes one and two for about 30 minutes. By 1:42 p.m., the roadway was clear, and both vehicles had been moved to the right shoulder.
The crash remains under investigation. We hope the injured occupant makes a full recovery.
