George, WA (July 15, 2026) – According to official information released on Monday, July 13, four people were hurt after a multi-vehicle crash on US Highway 281 nearly four miles north of George. The crash happened around 5 p.m. and involved five vehicles.
According to the report, a vehicle traveling north on US Highway 281 stopped to make a left turn and was rear-ended by a car driven by a 19-year-old man from Quincy. The impact caused a chain-reaction crash involving three additional vehicles traveling south.
Two people suffered serious injuries and were airlifted to a hospital for treatment. Two other people, including the 19-year-old driver, were taken by ambulance. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under review. We wish all those injured a speedy recovery.
