Charlotte County, FL (January 26, 2026) – A motorcyclist was killed in a fatal collision at the intersection of Tamiami Trail and Warrington Boulevard, prompting an ongoing investigation and full road closure, authorities confirmed Sunday.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office reported that the crash occurred earlier in the day and involved a motorcycle, though specific details regarding additional vehicles or the events leading up to the collision have not been released. The Florida Highway Patrol has since taken over the investigation.
