Charlotte, NC (January 9, 2026) – A crash on I-77 southbound near La Salle St left one person seriously injured Thursday night and caused major traffic disruptions in north Charlotte. The incident occurred at mile marker 12 and resulted in the closure of four general purpose lanes, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
