Chesapeake, VA (January 9, 2026) – A motor vehicle accident involving injuries was reported on Thursday evening at the intersection of Campostella Rd and Sunrise Ave in Chesapeake. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after 7:15 p.m. following reports of a crash with visible vehicle damage.
Upon arrival, Engine 3 and Medic 4 found a vehicle in the roadway with moderate front-end damage. All occupants were reported to be out of the vehicle by the time responders arrived. At least one individual was treated for injuries at the scene, though the full extent has not been confirmed.
Police assistance was requested to help secure the area and investigate the cause of the crash. The scene was managed safely, and traffic disruptions were kept to a minimum as crews cleared the roadway.
