What Makes Multi-Vehicle Crashes at Intersections So Dangerous
Intersections are common locations for multi-vehicle crashes because traffic moves in different directions at once. When several vehicles enter at the same time, even a small mistake can lead to a chain reaction.
Busy intersections often see higher traffic volumes, which can increase the chance of multiple vehicles being involved. When crashes occur at speed, damage and injuries can be more severe.
Fires can also develop when vehicles are heavily damaged, adding to the danger. Staying alert and following traffic signals can help reduce the risk of serious crashes at intersections.
