Chicago, IL (January 19, 2026) – Emergency responders were called to a vehicle crash with injuries near S Maryland Ave on the city’s South Side, according to public dispatch audio.
The collision occurred on January 17, and one individual was transported from the scene by ambulance to the University of Chicago Medical Center. Medical personnel at the scene reported the victim was in stable condition at the time of transport.
