Chicago, IL (January 18, 2026) – Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a pedestrian-involved traffic accident early on Friday morning after a woman was reportedly struck by a vehicle in an alley near North Wells Street. The incident occurred at approximately 7:03 a.m. on January 16 in the River North area of downtown Chicago.
Medics arrived quickly to assist an adult female victim who had sustained injuries after being hit by a car in the alleyway. The severity of her injuries has not yet been confirmed, but she was treated at the scene and transported for further medical evaluation.
