Chicago, IL (January 18, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash with injuries was reported late on Friday night at the intersection of North Milwaukee Ave and West Wabansia Ave in the Bucktown area. The collision occurred around 10:13 p.m. on January 16 and involved a black Mazda SUV and another unidentified SUV.

Initially reported as a property damage-only incident, the crash was later upgraded to include injuries, prompting a response from Chicago Fire Department units. Emergency responders arrived on scene to assess and assist those involved. The number of individuals injured and the severity of their injuries have not yet been confirmed.

The incident was captured on a city surveillance POD camera, which may assist investigators in determining the cause of the collision. Officers remained on scene to secure the area and document the crash.
