Las Vegas, NV (June 30, 2026) – An 8-year-old child was critically hurt after being struck by a car on Sunday night, June 28, along Las Vegas Boulevard west of Lamb Boulevard in northeast Las Vegas.
The collision was reported around 9:33 p.m. Investigators said the child was crossing the roadway outside a marked or implied crosswalk when a northbound 2011 Hyundai Elantra struck the person. Emergency units took the child to UMC, where the child remained in critical condition.
The Hyundai driver stayed at the site, according to investigators. The police are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash as they work to determine exactly what happened.
