Los Angeles, CA (August 21, 2026) – A child pedestrian suffered moderate injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday, August 19, near 1458 W 101st St in Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident log, the vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision was reported at approximately 6:27 p.m. Emergency personnel responded and treated the injured juvenile at the scene.
Officials later reported that the child was conscious and breathing but had sustained moderate injuries. Fire Department personnel continued providing care before the victim’s condition, and any transportation details were determined.
Investigators also sought video footage from a nearby location at 1505 W 101st St as part of the effort to determine how the crash occurred.
