Cincinnati, OH (January 10, 2026) – Emergency responders were called to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash with injuries on January 9 along I-71 southbound near exit 2A, just north of the ramp area. The collision, which occurred in the early morning hours around 2:50 a.m., reportedly involved up to three vehicles. Debris was observed scattered across the left-hand shoulder and into the roadway, according to dispatch audio.
Medics and police units responded quickly, and at least one person was reported injured, though the severity of those injuries has not yet been confirmed by officials. Crews worked to manage the scene and remove debris to restore traffic flow, which was impacted for a period during the overnight response.
An investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing.
