Claremont, CA (January 15, 2026) – A multi-vehicle collision involving an overturned SUV caused injuries and major lane closures on Wednesday afternoon on the westbound I-210 just east of Towne Ave, according to California Highway Patrol reports.
The crash occurred around 12:45 p.m. and involved four vehicles: a black SUV that overturned in the middle lanes, a white sedan, a blue Ford, and a gray van. Emergency responders, including Los Angeles County Fire personnel, arrived on scene and confirmed that at least one person was injured. A good Samaritan was reportedly rendering aid prior to their arrival.
The collision caused severe traffic disruption, with lanes 2, 3, and 4 temporarily closed while responders worked to clear the scene and assist the injured. Two tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
