Clermont, FL (January 8, 2026) – A crash with injuries and a complete roadblock was reported late Thursday morning on the northbound side of Florida’s Turnpike (SR-91) at mile marker 282 in Clermont. The incident occurred at approximately 11:21 a.m., causing significant traffic disruption in the area.

Emergency responders arrived quickly to assist at least one person injured in the crash. Medical personnel provided treatment at the scene, though the severity of injuries has not yet been confirmed.

Due to the collision, all northbound lanes were shut down at the scene. Motorists were being diverted off the turnpike via the Hancock Rd exit as crews worked to assess the situation and clear the roadway.
