Collinsville, TX (January 20, 2026) – A tragic two-vehicle crash in Collinsville early Tuesday morning resulted in one fatality and left another individual injured, according to local emergency officials.
The collision occurred at approximately 7:00 a.m. along the 8000 block of FM 902, a rural stretch of roadway frequently used by local residents during morning travel hours. Collinsville Fire Department responded quickly to the scene, where they found two vehicles involved in the wreck.
Emergency crews confirmed that one person died as a result of the crash. Another individual sustained injuries and was provided medical care at the scene before being transported for further treatment. The names of those involved have not yet been released.
Authorities worked to secure the area and initiate an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. While the cause of the crash has not been publicly confirmed, officials remained on scene for several hours to examine vehicle damage and road conditions.
