Pompano Beach, FL (July 22, 2026) – A person died on Tuesday afternoon, July 21, after a vehicle struck a pedestrian on South Federal Highway just north of McNab Road in Pompano Beach. The accident happened around 1:00 p.m. near several car dealerships.
Emergency units found the pedestrian at the site, and the person was pronounced dead. The driver was taken to a hospital for injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the wreck are still under review. Our condolences go out to the loved ones of the person who died.
