Colorado Springs, CO (January 28, 2026) – A man was injured early Tuesday morning in an auto-pedestrian incident near South Academy Blvd and Deerfield Crossing. The crash occurred in the vicinity of a local Goodwill store and resulted in an emergency response from both medical and fire units.
According to dispatch communication, a 42-year-old male stated he had been run over. He was reported to be conscious and breathing when first responders arrived on scene. Engine 11 and accompanying medical teams responded under emergency protocol to provide assistance.
Crews worked quickly to assess the patient’s injuries and prepare him for possible transport. The circumstances of the collision, including whether the vehicle involved remained on scene or fled, have not yet been disclosed by authorities.
