Colorado Springs, CO (January 14, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of Academy Park Loop and East Fountain Boulevard in Colorado Springs on January 13 at approximately 9:28 PM. The crash involved at least one vehicle, and airbag deployment was reported.
Upon arrival, paramedics discovered that one individual had sustained a forehead injury. The victim was treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and care. While the injury appeared to be non-life-threatening, the incident required immediate medical attention.
Engine 8 and ECO 23 were among the units responding to the crash. The scene was quickly secured, and responders worked to clear the wreckage and ensure the safety of all involved.
Traffic was briefly impacted as the area was cleared. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident, and witnesses are being asked to provide any relevant information.
