Columbia, SC (January 11, 2026) – Two female patients were transported to the hospital following a vehicle collision early Friday morning near Richland Medical Park Dr in Columbia.
The incident occurred on January 10, around 7:20 a.m., involving at least one vehicle with two occupants. Medics reported that the first woman sustained a head strike and left-side pain, including complaints of nausea, neck pain, and chest discomfort. Abnormalities on the cardiac monitor and an avulsion injury to the left forearm were also noted.
The second patient, also a female, experienced airbag deployment during the crash and reported tingling sensations in both arms, describing a general sense of lethargy. Both women were conscious and alert, with stable vital signs upon transport.
Emergency crews coordinated swift transport to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation. The exact circumstances of the crash have not yet been detailed, and no additional vehicles were mentioned during the dispatch.
