Columbus, OH (January 9, 2026) – A crash resulting in injuries caused significant traffic disruption on Friday afternoon on the eastbound side of I-270 near US Route 23 on the south side of Columbus.

The collision, reported around 1:18 p.m., blocked the left lanes of the interstate and prompted a traffic advisory as emergency crews responded. Paramedics arrived at the scene to assist at least one injured person, though the severity of the injuries has not been officially confirmed.
