Providence, RI (June 23, 2026) – A construction worker was injured after falling from the Iway Bridge while performing bridge construction work in Providence on Monday, June 22.
According to preliminary information, the worker fell approximately 35 feet from the bridge to the ground below. The injured worker sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Responders assisted at the scene before the worker was transported to a medical facility for evaluation and treatment.
