China Township, MI (June 3, 2026) – The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office reported that a 33-year-old construction worker was wounded on Wednesday, June 3, after being struck while working along King Road in China Township.
Officials said the man was taken to McLaren Macomb with non-life-threatening injuries following the roadway crash. The incident happened in an active road construction zone where crews were performing work at the time.
The St. Clair County Accident Investigations Team is reviewing the circumstances surrounding the collision.
