Long Beach, CA (June 28, 2026) – Multiple people were injured after a multi-vehicle crash involving an overturned vehicle on Interstate 405 South near Long Beach Boulevard in Long Beach.
The crash was reported around 4:56 a.m. on Friday, June 26. Initial information indicated that a gray truck and another truck were involved in a collision, with one vehicle ending up overturned and losing a wheel. A witness reported that a dark gray Ford F-150 may have caused the crash and stopped on the right shoulder.
A witness also reported several people were inside the overturned vehicle, with some leaving the scene afterward. Rescue crews responded and requested medical assistance after reports of at least one person with possible serious injuries. The HOV lane was temporarily blocked while crews worked at the scene.
