Culpeper, VA (January 14, 2026) – A 60-year-old man was hurt in a traffic collision that occurred Monday afternoon near the intersection of Sunset Lane and Cypress Drive in Culpeper.
The incident took place at approximately 12:41 p.m., triggering a 12 Bravo response from Box 150. Engine Company 1 and Ambulance Companies 11 and 12 were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, responders found the injured man conscious but reportedly incoherent and in visible pain.
Emergency medical personnel treated him at the scene before preparing for transport to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Officials have not confirmed the number of vehicles involved or the cause of the crash.
The area around Sunset Ln and Cypress Dr was briefly affected as crews worked to clear the roadway and assist the victim. Local authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
