Rancho Cordova, CA (August 5, 2026) – A cyclist was hurt in a traffic crash involving a vehicle on August 4 on the westbound on-ramp from Sunrise Boulevard to US-50 in Rancho Cordova.
According to initial dispatch information, the collision was reported at about 1:34 p.m. and involved a vehicle and a bicycle. Early updates indicated the bicycle was on the right-hand side of the roadway, while the vehicle was partially on the right shoulder near the westbound on-ramp.
Emergency units were sent to the roadway, and additional personnel arrived shortly afterward. The extent of the cyclist’s injuries has not been released, and it remains unclear whether anyone else was hurt.
