Sacramento, CA (August 2, 2026) – A bicyclist was hurt in a hit-and-run after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Power Inn Road and Loucreta Drive on July 31. Initial police reports indicated the person was found lying in the roadway following the crash.
Emergency units arrived after the report was received shortly before 8:00 p.m. Dispatch information later identified the vehicle involved as a silver Honda Civic with damage to the right front. The driver, described only as a Black male adult, reportedly left the area after the collision.
The bicyclist’s condition has not been released, and no identifying information was immediately available.
