Dakota Ridge, CO (January 19, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident at the intersection of West Coal Mine Ave and West Bowles Ave on January 16 resulted in emergency crews responding to assist an elderly woman who appeared disoriented at the scene.
The crash involved a black Honda Pilot and a white truck. Deputies and medics arrived to evaluate the individuals involved, with particular attention given to the elderly female driver, whose condition raised concerns. It remained unclear whether her disorientation was due to injuries sustained in the crash or an unrelated medical issue.
Paramedics provided medical attention on-site while deputies maintained scene control and gathered initial information. The extent of vehicle damage was not confirmed, but traffic in the area was affected during the response.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and whether any additional medical support will be needed for the involved parties.
We send our thoughts to the elderly woman involved and hope for her well-being and recovery.
