DALLAS, Dallas County, Texas, Sept. 29, 2026 — A woman died and three other people were hurt in a multivehicle crash Monday evening, September 28, near the east and southeast Oak Cliff area of Dallas. The collision happened at the intersection of Wadsworth Drive and Great Trinity Forest Way, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue.
Fire-Rescue crews responded to the intersection shortly after 5 p.m. following reports that two to three vehicles had crashed, department spokesman Jason Evans said. Five rescue vehicles and an EMS supervisor were sent to the scene.
Dallas police were dispatched about seven minutes after fire crews arrived, according to department spokeswoman Erika Brown. Active call logs showed more than 10 police units responded to the collision.
One woman died at the scene, Evans said. She had not been publicly identified as of Monday. Three other people, a man and two women, were taken to hospitals with what Evans described as serious injuries.
No arrests had been made as of Monday, Brown said, and the circumstances that led to the crash remain under investigation.
