Danbury, CT (January 21, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched Tuesday morning to a motor vehicle accident with reported injuries at the intersection of Main Street and Center Street in Danbury.
The incident was reported around 9:06 a.m. on January 20. According to initial dispatch audio, police units were already on scene when medical personnel were called to assist. One individual involved in the crash may have sustained injuries but reportedly refused medical treatment on site.
The total number of vehicles involved and the full scope of the incident have not yet been officially confirmed. First responders worked to ensure the area was safe and to assist those involved in the collision.
Minor traffic disruptions were likely during the response as crews worked at the intersection.
