Dayton, OH (January 13, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision with injuries Monday morning on westbound Route 35 between Smithville Rd and Woodman Dr in Dayton, according to dispatch audio reports.
The crash occurred shortly after 9:00 a.m. and involved a gray Chevrolet Equinox. First responders arrived at the scene and began assisting injured individuals, though the total number of people hurt and the severity of their injuries have not yet been confirmed. Medical personnel assessed victims on-site and arranged transport for further care as needed.
The collision led to temporary delays along the westbound lanes of Route 35 as crews worked to manage the scene, redirect traffic, and clear the roadway. Both vehicles sustained visible damage, and investigators remained present to determine what led to the incident.
