Dayton, OH (January 14, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Tuesday afternoon to a two-vehicle collision with injuries on State Route 48 (Dayton Lebanon Pike) near Sheehan Rd and Grissom Dr, close to the La Piñata restaurant in Dayton.
The crash occurred around 12:42 p.m. on January 13 and was quickly upgraded to an injury incident after dispatch reports indicated that one person may have been trapped in a vehicle. Responding fire and medical teams worked to assess the scene and aid the injured. At least one individual required medical attention, though the full extent of injuries has not yet been confirmed.
The area around SR-48 experienced temporary traffic disruptions as emergency responders assisted those involved and cleared the scene. Officials have not yet released information regarding the cause of the crash or the identities of those involved.
