Daytona Beach, FL (January 16, 2026) – A vehicle accident caused injuries and a roadblock on Friday morning at the intersection of 13th St and San Jose Blvd in Daytona Beach, according to reports from Volusia County officials.
The crash occurred at approximately 9:56 a.m., prompting a response from emergency crews who quickly arrived to assist those injured. Paramedics provided medical attention on-site, though it has not been confirmed how many individuals were hurt or whether anyone required hospital transport.
Due to the collision, a roadblock was set up in the area, and drivers were urged to use caution while traveling near the scene. The disruption caused minor traffic delays while responders worked to assist victims and begin clearing the roadway.
