Doniphan, MO (August 3, 2026) – Two people died, and another was seriously injured after a head-on crash on Saturday morning, August 1, on US-160 west of Doniphan. The collision happened around 7:45 a.m. when a Suzuki SX4 and a Chevrolet Suburban crashed in Ripley County.
The Suzuki was traveling westbound with two Doniphan men inside when it collided with the eastbound Chevrolet Suburban. The 40-year-old Suzuki driver died at the scene, while his 50-year-old passenger was taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital, where he later died. The 42-year-old driver of the Chevrolet suffered serious injuries and was flown to a Memphis hospital for treatment.
