El Dorado Springs, MO (August 3, 2026) – A Saturday afternoon rear-end collision on US-54, about one mile east of El Dorado Springs in Cedar County, left two drivers injured, according to official reports. The collision happened around 1:31 p.m. on August 1, when a Ford Escape struck the rear of a Mercury Montego, according to the crash report.
The 18-year-old male driver of the Ford Escape from Pleasant Hill suffered minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Cedar County Memorial Hospital in El Dorado Springs. The 68-year-old female driver of the Mercury Montego from El Dorado Springs suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Nevada Regional Hospital.
