Victorville, CA (September 8, 2026) – A 44-year-old Victorville man was killed early Sunday morning, September 6, after being struck by a car along Silica Drive. According to officials, Jaime Moroyoqui was hit shortly after 4 a.m. while a black sedan was traveling east on Silica Drive.
The crash occurred just west of First Avenue. Moroyoqui was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment but later died from his injuries. The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified him as the victim.
The driver of the sedan remained at the scene following the crash. The circumstances leading to the collision remain under investigation. The incident remains under review as authorities continue to investigate the crash.
