Palmview, TX (September 6, 2026) – A 68-year-old man was killed in a three-vehicle crash north of Palmview. The collision happened around 1:47 p.m. on Friday, September 4, at Texan Road and 5 Mile Line.

A Ford F-250 was traveling west on 5 Mile Line when it ran a stop sign. The truck then struck a Kia Optima traveling south on Texan Road. The Ford continued moving and collided with a FedEx truck heading east on 5 Mile Line. Ruben Dario Molina Barron, 68, the Kia driver, died at the scene.

The Ford driver and a passenger were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The FedEx driver did not require hospital treatment. The crash remains under investigation.
