How Do Rear-End Collisions Become Fatal in Urban Areas
Rear-end crashes are often considered less severe than other types of collisions, but they can still result in fatal outcomes, especially at higher speeds or during late-night hours.
Factors such as reduced visibility, fatigue, or delayed reaction times can increase the risk of a severe impact.
In urban areas, intersections and service drives can create sudden stops or merging situations, making it critical for drivers to remain alert and maintain safe following distances.
