Philadelphia, PA (July 15, 2026) – A man was seriously injured in a collision involving a dirt bike, SUV, and car early on Monday morning in Philadelphia’s Port Richmond section. The accident happened shortly after midnight on the 3800 block of N Delaware Ave.
The dirt bike was traveling southbound when it crossed into the northbound lanes and struck a Chevy Cobalt head-on. The rider was thrown from the bike and hit a parked Honda CR-V that was on the shoulder with a flat tire.
The dirt bike operator was taken to Temple Hospital in critical condition with a fractured leg, multiple cuts and abrasions, and a serious head injury. The drivers of the Chevy Cobalt and Honda CR-V remained at the site and spoke with investigators.
The identity of the injured man has not been released. The circumstances surrounding the wreck are still being examined, and additional details may become available later. We hope for strength and healing for the person injured in the collision.
