Rapides Parish, LA (May 30, 2026) – According to the Louisiana State Police, a 43-year-old man lost his life after a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer near Milburn Grace Road.
The crash happened shortly after 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 28. According to the report, Jerome Warren was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Impala eastbound when the vehicle left the right side of the roadway for reasons still under review. Investigators said he then overcorrected, causing the car to cross into the westbound lane.
The Impala’s right side struck a 2021 Western Star tractor-trailer traveling west. After the impact, both vehicles left the roadway and entered a tree line. Warren suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. However, the truck driver was not hurt.
