Washington County, MO (September 12, 2026) – A 51-year-old woman was hurt in a four-vehicle accident on Thursday morning on Missouri Route 8 near Wood Hallow Drive in Washington County. The crash occurred around 7:40 a.m. on September 10.
Four vehicles were traveling east on MO 8 when three began to slow or stop. A Jeep Wrangler struck the rear of a Chrysler 200, causing the Wrangler to overturn and land on a Jeep Cherokee.
The impact pushed the Cherokee into the Chrysler, which then struck a Dodge Ram 1500. The 51-year-old Chrysler driver from Potosi suffered minor injuries and was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation.
