St. Louis, MO (September 10, 2026) – A 36-year-old man was injured in a three-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning on westbound I-70 west of Bermuda. The collision occurred around 7:48 a.m.
A 22-year-old Florissant woman lost control of a Kia Forte and left the left side of the roadway, striking the concrete median barrier. She returned to the roadway and overcorrected, causing the Kia to strike the front of a Peterbilt 579 truck.
The truck driver attempted to avoid the Kia but swerved right and struck the rear of a Volkswagen Jetta. The truck then left the roadway and overturned.
The 36-year-old Florissant man driving the truck suffered minor injuries and was taken to SSM Health DePaul Hospital. The other two drivers were not reported injured. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation.
