Troy, MO (July 18, 2026) – A driver was reportedly injured after their vehicle collided with another vehicle at the intersection of US-61 and Creech Lane in Lincoln County on Thursday, July 16. Emergency units responded to the scene around 4:15 p.m.
According to the official report, a 2019 Peterbilt failed to yield to oncoming traffic while entering the intersection. The truck entered the path of a southbound 2023 Toyota Highlander, which then struck the vehicle. The Highlander sustained total damage and was towed from the scene.
The 41-year-old driver of the Toyota suffered moderate injuries and was taken by Lincoln County Ambulance District to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital – Lake St. Louis. The 46-year-old driver of the Peterbilt was not reported injured.
