Oronogo, MO (June 19, 2026) – At about 3:50 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, a Webb City man was reportedly injured after a crash involving a Bronco and a semi-truck on MO-96 near MO-43 in Jasper County.
Emergency units responded to the scene after reports of a serious crash involving a semi. According to officials, a 42-year-old Webb City man was driving a 2023 Bronco eastbound on MO-96 when the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a westbound semi-tractor-trailer.
The Bronco driver suffered serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Joplin for treatment. The semi-truck was a 2024 International driven by a 28-year-old Springfield man, who was not injured.
Both vehicles were involved in the collision, and emergency crews worked at the scene following the crash. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
