Spokane Valley, WA (June 19, 2026) – Three people were hurt on Thursday afternoon after a three-vehicle wreck on Hwy 27 at 24th Ave in Spokane Valley.
The collision happened around 4:20 p.m. near milepost 83.7, according to Washington State Patrol. Multiple units were also sent to nearby intersections as crews managed traffic following the crash.
The driver believed to have left the crash was later taken into custody. Washington State Patrol said drugs or alcohol were involved. No details about the people hurt or the severity of their injuries were released.
Southbound Hwy 27 remained closed while traffic was diverted through a northbound lane. Drivers were advised to expect delays while the roadway was being cleared. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident remains underway.
