DUBLIN, Laurens County, Ga., Sept. 28, 2026 — An 18-year-old woman died on Sunday night, September 27, after three vehicles collided at an intersection in Laurens County, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Georgia Highway 31 and Springhaven Road. A pickup truck reportedly failed to stop at the intersection and struck the side of a flatbed trailer being towed by a tractor-trailer.
Investigators said the impact sent the pickup spinning into another lane, where it struck the front of a passenger car. A passenger riding in the pickup was thrown from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. She has been identified by the state patrol as Ella Jenkins, 18, of Gray, Georgia.
Georgia Highway 31 was closed for more than two hours while crews worked the scene and cleared the wreckage. No other injuries have been detailed publicly at this time.
